TCP Port Listener for Windows 11  |  29-Nov-2025

PortProvider 1.1

PortProvider is a small tool that makes TCP ports available. It is very suitable for end-to-end tests within the network.

The features:

  • Provides TCP ports
  • Freely selectable port number
  • Multiple TCP ports with one click

End-to-end tests

Troubleshooting often raises the question of whether the server is not making a certain TCP port available correctly or whether the network connection is being blocked on the way to the destination - for example by a firewall. This is where PortProvider comes into play: PortProvider provides dummy TCP ports that can be used to clearly clarify the issue. The TCP ports provided by PortProvider are only used for troubleshooting and do not provide a real service.

How can I provide a TCP Port in Linux?

netcat -l -p <port number> -k
